Praetorian Bio is delighted to welcome Antonio González, MD, PhD, who joined the company in June 2026 as a Senior Clinical Advisor. Antonio is one of the most accomplished clinical vaccine developers of his generation, bringing more than 25 years of experience leading vaccine programs at Sanofi Pasteur MSD, GSK, Novartis Vaccines, AstraZeneca, and the Gates Medical Research Institute, most recently as Vice President of Clinical Development at the Sabin Vaccine Institute.
His track record speaks for itself. At AstraZeneca, Antonio led the global clinical strategy for the COVID-19 vaccine, including its pivotal Phase 3 trial and its EMA, MHRA, and FDA authorizations. At GSK, he led the pediatric RSV program from Phase 1 through proof of concept. He is the author of more than 70 peer-reviewed publications.
Antonio joins at a pivotal moment as Praetorian Bio advances CaviStop®, its lead intranasal vaccine against dental caries, and a growing pipeline of first-in-class mucosal vaccines targeting the microbial drivers of oral disease.
